Ya tres semanas en Surrey

Nov 16/22
Here life is good, colder but nothing compared to the 10 cm of snow in Montreal today ;)

Last week we enjoyed trying the scones recipe that Fran  left us near the airfryer and oh.. there were so good!!

We had a small flue but I was k.o on Monday and I called sick for work. Juan was so so on Sunday, but now we are both ok again!

During the weekend we went to Buntzen lake and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the nice neighborhood.

Yesterday a cousin was passing by Vancouver, so we spent so time with her and Javi at Stevenson.
Everything is going pretty good here. The plants are still alive and everything is working perfectly.

Just want to say hi and let you know that everything is going pretty good here.

The cold is arriving slowly! there were two days with a lot of rain, one day with intense wind and yesterday we did get snow, but melted really quick

The day with the intense wind, we even run out of power but there was no issue at all for us

We made really nice scones in the airfryer and enjoyed them with a grapes jam that Robert made from the grapes from Javiers garden
I already ask for all my BC card and drivers licence. We love public offices in BC! there more kind than I Quebec ;)

We went to visit White Rock and enjoyed a nice ice cream with some friends from Montreal! That was the last sunny day from last week.
Thats all about here. Everyhting is going pretty smooth as you can read.

Here some comments of this first week:

* The day you left, there was a lot of rain during the night It was perfect for a deep sleep to start a week living in such a nice place

* We love a lot how the light enters the house though the balcony and the side windows of the kitchen

* We already started to enjoy the wonderful cake you left us and we had to hide, to avoid eating it in one shot ;)

* During the week there had been a lot of fireworks because of the Diwalli. It was wonderful seen people on the street with their traditional dresses!

* The green tomatoes that you left us were soo good!

* Our car is now BC register! We found everything we need for that close to your house

* We found a Colombian bakery/store! Wow! It is walking distance from the house

* And to finish, we want to share that we went yesterday to a lovely hike in Lynn Valley Trail. What a wonderful forest!
